Where did Havu begin?
Our goal is to give SMEs HR that genuinely supports the business, without hiring large HR teams or rolling out complex, expensive systems.

While we were working in HR with dozens of SMEs, we kept running into the same problems. Small companies handle nearly all of their HR, from annual leave to onboarding and from development discussions to employee handbooks, manually and reactively, because the solutions currently on the market are far too complex and expensive for SME's.
The lighter, foreign alternatives, in turn, don't support the requirements that come from Finnish employment law. This creates fragmentation and bottlenecks and places an unnecessary burden on managers, employees and HR, not to mention company leadership.

We believe SME HR should stay as purposeful and forward-looking as possible. Today, when the cognitive strain from information overload and technostress is a significant challenge in workplaces, the tools we use need to be human-centric and make work flow more smoothly.
Making this possible takes a solution that brings everything people-related into one place, automates routine tasks, and helps the company use data and AI to develop how it operates.
